This is a living document that will be edited as more rules come into play

  • §1. All fantasy races come into existence

    • §1.1: Everyone gets transported to a new world
      • §1.1.1: This world is 20 times the size of earth (all problems that come with that, are solved. There is no change to how the planet functions… Aside from magic and the things that come with that)

  • §2. You get a fantasia that allows you to turn into whatever race you want

    • §2.1: YOU ONLY GET ONE!!!
    • §2.2: You cannot start in a higher social position (rulers of any sort), or as a higher evolution of your race
      • §2.2.1: you can start as a princess, prince, or any creature that is under or subject to these rulers, but you will be subject to all the responsibilities and negatives/positives of being in those positions
    • §2.3: You can decide whether or not you start as a newborn, a child, an adult, or at the age you are now. Each comes with its own benefits and negatives

  • §3. All magic, miracles, physical enhancement abilities, etc are now in existence

  • §4. Time Travel Exists

    • §4.1: The button and all events prior to the existence of the people of earth on this new world, are cut from the timeline. The old timeline is moved somewhere. It is theoretically (for the people of the world) impossible to travel to the beginning of the creation of the world, and thus the button
    • §4.2: Those that are born with time magic (only the exceedingly sparse time races), have a strange, unexplained inability to travel far enough back in time to see the timelines beginning
      • §4.2.1: The time races are higher races, and thus cannot be started as
    • §4.3: It is possible to learn time magic. It is one of the Origin Magics of this world and is abysmally hard to learn
      • §4.3.1: Any that learn time magic are immediately taken by the Time Council and made to understand the dangers of time travel
    • §4.4: There is an entity that hunts all time travelers while they time travel
      • §4.4.1: There is only one of this entity and it is a higher race
      • §4.4.2: Within the time stream, the entity is a near omnipotent creature
      • §4.4.3: The entity cannot leave the time stream of its own will. It is also astronomically difficult to attempt to break it out of the time stream
    • §4.5: Any changes made to time cause a branching timeline to be created.
      • §4.5.1: You cannot live in these branching timelines. As long as you are in the new timeline, if you stay for an extended amount of time, you will be wiped from existence

  • §5. Death
    • §5.1: There is a Heaven, Hell, Limbo, Oblivion, and various derivatives of those.
      • §5.1.1: You go to any of the aforementioned post life realms based on many different factors. The primary factors being:
          1. What your beliefs were when you died. Did you follow a holy/benevolent deity, or a cruel/horrid deity, or did you follow no gods and walked a different path.
          1. The actions you’ve taken throughout your life, that includes those committed in the name of your deity (or lack thereof)
          1. How you died. Depending on your beliefs, culture, etc, you may end up in varying versions of the afterlife if your death was notable
    • §5.2: There are also those who persist after death (Ghosts, spirits, etc)
    • §5.3: Certain races are born into Heaven, Hell, Oblivion, etc.
      • §5.3.1: These races are not considered dead when born by default. However, some races of undead can reproduce (don’t ask). Anyone born of an undead race and a living race are born with a status called “Conflict of Existence” (more on that when I flesh it out).
    • §5.4: Death is NOT permanent.
      • §5.4.1: Depending on the race, conditions of death, and any other factors that may come into play at the time of resurrection; A person can be brought back to life.
      • §5.4.2: The condition for MOST earthborn races to return to life are as follows:
          1. Someone of a specific class must initiate the resurrection (This usually means a healer class of some sort, but is not limited to them).
          1. They must be able to make contact with the soul of the one who died. This does not require any special bond with that person, but it does mean there can be situations where that contact is interrupted or denied.
          1. The dead’s soul must not be completely acclimated to the afterlife they have gone to. The amount of time it takes for the soul to become accustomed to its new realm is dependent on things like their beliefs and the afterlife they end up in aligning, their acceptance of their death and where they’ve ended up, and what killed them (if what killed them can interfere with death). The minimum amount of time this takes for 99% of races is 7 days (without some form of interference).
          1. If a persons soul has adapted to its new realm, they can still be resurrected. This will require venturing to that plane of existence and earning their soul back. Even if a soul is earned, if the dead does not want to return, it cannot be forced to return. However, a soul can be ripped from its death even after its been adjusted, and without earning it. This pretty much will not end well.
